Description

Understanding how to cope with the grief that comes when you lose someone close to you is difficult. Coping with grief and loss while caring for relatives and fictive kin children can be even more challenging especially if the loss is felt by the kinship children too. As a specialist in bereavement, life transitions, and group development, Dr. Collier McLaughlin helped us understand the grief process while learning how to cope and provide insight into how kinship parents can care for children affected by grief and loss as you walk through this challenging life change together.
