The Absent Parent: Dealing with Absent or Inconsistent Parents” is designed for Kinship families navigating the challenges of raising a child with an absent or inconsistent biological parent. We understand that the complexities of this situation can create unique emotional, social, and practical hurdles for both the child and the caregiver. This webinar will include information to empower caregivers on handling obstacles associated with absent or inconsistent parents and help the child/ren thrive.

 

About the Trainers:

Angela Hafer, CSW graduated from Ohio University, obtained her master’s degree from Concord University, and has worked as a therapist for almost 7 years. She is currently a therapist at Ramey Estep Homes, Inc working with children to establish permanence and to ensure the success of the families she works with.
