Description

Caring for a child with a learning disability can be challenging at times. Learning how to connect and work with your child to learn important concepts necessary for their growth and development is essential for any caregiver. However, for caregivers caring for children with a learning disability, helping your child succeed requires developing an understanding of your child’s cognitive abilities and helping them develop tools to be successful, in addition to being an educational advocate for your child.  In this LIVE webinar, we will investigate how children develop neurologically and strategies that can close the gap between a child’s intelligence and the struggles they face at home, school, and the community.

Presented by: Kyra Minichan, M.A., CCC-SLP, a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in cognitive-linguistic intervention.
