Finding Financial Support and Resources for Kinship Care LIVE Webinar Recording presented on 2.8.2022 to provide an overview of the financial supports available to kinship caregivers who choose to take custody of their relative and fictive kin children and those who choose to become a foster home for kinship children.
This training is an informative resource customized to Kinship Caregivers and Kinship Foster Parents designed to enhance skills, identify resources, and gain confidence in their role as a caregiver. It is our hope that by utilizing this resource, attendees will receive educational and helpful information. However, it is important to note that this resource is not approved for foster parent training credit or CEU’s as attendance is not monitored during the webinar event.

Being able to find financial resources to care for your family is an important aspect of Kinship care. For many families, financial aid that is available through Federal and State funds can make a big difference in the care of kinship children. This webinar, presented by DCBS, is a presentation designed to discuss all of the available resources that kinship caregivers can access to provide support for their family. This webinar will also discuss a few changes that are new for 2022.
