Presenter Bio
Jennifer Taylor, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and Maryland. She earned her Master of Social Work from Florida State University, Bachelor of Social Work from the University of West Florida, and is a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) candidate at the University of Kentucky (anticipated conferment in May 2026).
Jennifer serves as Senior Manager of the Institute for Professional Development and Grant-Funded Clinical Programs at Jewish Community Services, where she provides clinical leadership, program development, and oversight of large-scale, grant-funded behavioral health initiatives serving children and families. In addition, she maintains a psychotherapy practice specializing in complex interpersonal trauma. In both roles, Jennifer supports mental health professionals by organizing, teaching, and implementing transformative continuing education programs. She has also served as an adjunct professor in social work at the University of Memphis and the University of West Florida.
Jennifer’s research examines multistate licensure and clinical practice as a unique specialty and is informed by her lived experiences as a military spouse practicing across five states. Her research anchors theoretically sound clinical practice with intentional continuing education that supports a reflective, meaningful, and individualized learning process for both the clinician and the clients they serve.
Jennifer’s professional qualifications include being a Registered Play Therapist–Supervisor and an EMDR Approved Consultant. Jennifer has presented nationally and internationally and has published multiple book chapters on play therapy, supervision, and nature-based interventions.
