Presenter Bio:

Jeniffer Abdullah, Director of Data and Research at the Florida Network of Youth and Family Services, has had a variety of experiences leading and contributing to data projects at the Florida Network whose mission is to help Floridians through a variety of prevention services which aim to reduce further system involvement. In 2025, Jeniffer had the opportunity to present on collaboration within data at both the National Symposium on Juvenile Services and Florida Department of Juvenile Justice’s Restoring Hope Conference. Jeniffer previously earned her Bachelor of Social Work and Certificate in Disabilities Studies at the University of Georgia where she developed an interest in macro social work and pursuing a career path which used data to help people.

Subsequently, Jeniffer earned a Master of Social Work and a Master of Business Administration with a Certificate in Leadership in Executive and Administrative Development. While leading the redevelopment of a statewide database, Jeniffer became interested in pursuing her Doctor of Social Work and is currently a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Kentucky. Jeniffer’s original research interest involved suicide prevention, particularly in Guyana, where her family is from.

One of Jeniffer’s data projects at the Florida Network involved developing a risk and strengths-based assessment (within the database) which set the foundation for her capstone project. The capstone project aims to develop an understanding of how to support assessment implementation, determining how successful it was, and how to support ongoing fidelity and interrater reliability amongst partner agencies.
