Presenter Bio
Jenny Rodriguez, MSW, LCSW, OSW-C, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Oncology Social Work–Certified clinician and doctoral candidate at the University of Kentucky. She earned her Master of Social Work from Azusa Pacific University. She has dedicated her career to the field of psycho-oncology, culturally responsive care, and program development.
Jenny’s scholarly and clinical interests center on broadening cultural awareness in healthcare and advancing psychosocial research with underserved and marginalized populations. Her achievements include professional honors, such as an award for integrating interdisciplinary psychosocial programs into standard medical care with the Society for Social Work Leadership in Health Care, and a Susan G. Komen–supported grant. Jenny has also led and co-authored publications on distress screening practices, including adherence, responsiveness, and psychosocial interventions in oncology care.
In addition to her hospital-based role, Jenny maintains a private therapy practice and is also actively engaged in community work, integrating traditional Indigenous ancestral practices as part of a culturally rooted wellness approach.
