|Navigating the Medically Complex World with David Giannini MS, LCADC
|This brief presentation serves to introduce the annual medically complex training. Attendants will be welcomed, process of training will be described, and there will be a few minutes for questions concerning processes of daily training.

|G-Tube and Ostomy Site Care
|This presentation will cover basic care and common problems for various health needs of medically complex children. It will discuss tracheostomy care, g tube care, and ostomy care as well as common problems that can be treated at home.

|Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children
|This presentation will cover issues facing foster parents of deaf and hard of hearing children. Among problems covered will be a focus on care, specific medical needs, modes of communication for these children.

|Functional Neurological Disorders
|This presentation will be on functional neurological disorders and how they present in children. Dr. Marshall will provide general background on disorders and provide examples of specific disorders. Presentation will also focus on care and adjustment in the home.

|This presentation will focus on neuromuscular disease. The foci of this presentation will be commonality between numerous types of pediatric muscular disease, management options that are disease specific, and to understand the role that caregivers play in care of children with these issues.

|Medical Traumatic Stress with Tanesha R. Johnson, Ph.D.
|This presentation will speak directly to the experiences and needs of patients and families affected by injury and illness. Attendees will learn about pediatric medical traumatic stress and the signs and symptoms to look out for in their loved ones.
