Description

As kinship caregivers, we offer care to children who have experienced difficult or traumatic situations, but, in the aftermath of these traumatic situations, how do we help them heal?  For many of us, we may not have had to live through a similar circumstance and may not know how to help the children we care for-especially if they are reacting behaviorally.  How do we as kinship caregivers help children to manage their fears or learn how to respond to difficult situations in a healthy way?

Join us for the next installment in our Trauma Series, helping children learn to cope with negative situations, or, helping children build resilience and coping skills. This webinar will be important for any caregiver who is working through parenting issues of a child who has experienced trauma and is struggling to interact with their friends, teachers, and caregivers.  This webinar will provide practical suggestions for any caregiver to utilize with the children they care for!
