This virtual webinar session will focus on understanding the financial support and resources available to caregivers caring for children in kinship care.  This webinar will explore the funds that are available through the state for relative and fictive kin caregivers, the requirements to receive those funds, and upcoming changes made by state legislation that will take effect in 2022.  Resources and programs available to assist caregivers in providing support for children in kinship care will also be discussed.


About the Trainer: Maurice Lee II is the Service Array Specialist within the Out of Home Care Branch. He has been employed with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services for 8 years, and have been working with Kinship families for 2 years. Maurice graduated from Western Carolina University in 2011 with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Clinical Forensics. Maurice enjoys working with Relative and Fictive Kin caregivers throughout the state.
