Connected Parenting for Teens, with Lisa Qualls
What does connected parenting look like with teens? Many parents have learned TBRI® (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) skills that work well with younger children but don’t quite fit their teens. You can build trust and connection with teens using the skills you have.
In this training, you will:
- Learn to adapt TBRI® strategies to reflect your teen’s developmental stage.
- Identify creative ways to nurture a teen.
- Build connection by making the relationship the center of every interaction.
About the presenter
Lisa Qualls is a birth mother, mother of 12 by birth and adoption, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) Practitioner. She is the co-author of The Connected Parent with Dr. Karyn Purvis, and co-founder of The Adoption Connection.
