The University of Kentucky Office of Professional Development and Continuing Education (UK OPDCE) has the utmost respect for our customers' privacy. In no way will the UK OPDCE violate this philosophy. The UK OPDCE will not release any information gathered about its customers. Information gathered from customers will be compiled anonymously and used solely for the purpose of purchasing live/online training. This personal information includes the name, address, email address of customers in order to process payments. UK OPDCE customers are the number one priority and will continue to be first priority in the future.
Credit Card Transactions:
Credit card data that is provided by each customer when courses are purchase, then encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
We are unable to issue refunds for missed classes. If you must miss the course, please contact Miranda Huffman at email@example.com before the class is set to begin. You will be issued a course credit which must be used within 1 year of the purchase date. Any credits not used within 1 year of the purchase date will be forfeited.
